Fi Morris is an allrounder, known for her right-arm off-break bowling and top-order batting. She currently plays for the North West Thunder and the Manchester Originals. Morris has significant experience in women’s county cricket in the South and has participated in three seasons of the Hundred. She has also appeared through England age groups and development sides.
Throughout her career, Morris has taken more than 200 wickets and scored over 2,500 runs in List A and T20 cricket. She won a county championship title with Hampshire in 2018 during her debut season in Southampton and has also represented the Southern Vipers and the Southern Brave.
Before the inaugural final of the Hundred, while playing for the Brave, Morris discussed her long-term battle with depression, crediting counselling from the Professional Cricketers’ Trust with “saving her life.”
After a period in the South West, representing Gloucestershire, Western Storm, and the Welsh Fire in 2022, Morris moved to the North West for the 2023 season. She now calls Old Trafford her home ground, playing for Lancashire, North West Thunder, and the Manchester Originals. Morris had a key performance with the bat, scoring a powerful 50 against the Southern Brave in the 2023 Hundred, however her standout moment came in her debut against the Birmingham Phoenix, where she took an impressive 5 wickets for just 7 runs. This was the best figures in the history of the competition.
